Walton Stroke Group
Walton Stroke Group meets most Mondays at the Day Centre in Walton-on-Thames, Surrey.
The group aims to assist in the rehabilitation of stroke recoverers by providing a weekly social club with support. Activities include talks, entertainment and rehabilitation through exercises and speech therapy. Carers in turn benefit from a few hours break.
We also run outings and holidays for members and their carers.
We also visit club members at hospital and at home, and provide carers and members with information and support where possible. In the first instance, potential members are assessed to ensure that the club is able to cater for their needs.
